October 16, 2012 – The longstanding Foundation for Educational Exchange between Canada and the United States of America (Fulbright Canada) has launched the 2013-2014 competition for the Traditional Fulbright Student Awards. This scholarship is intended for Canadian graduate students, prospective graduate students and junior professionals who wish to enroll in a graduate studies program, continue their current course of graduate study and research, or pursue an independent research project for a period of nine months in the United States. The scholarship is worth US $15,000 and includes basic health insurance, along with visa, and other professional services. An integral part of the program includes Fulbright enrichment opportunities, which are available to scholars on a competitive basis.
