Competition open for Canadians: Organization of American States’ Partnerships Program for Education and Training

June 30, 2016 – Canadian students are eligible for a scholarship to pursue a Master’s or PhD in Brazil. There is no Portuguese language requirement at the application stage, but selected applicants must show proof of superior intermediate level of Portuguese before their departure.

  • Program name: Partnerships Program for Education and Training
  • Funding organizations: Organization of American States, Brazilian Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Pan-American Health Organization
  • Target audience: Canadian students holding a Bachelor’s degree
  • Duration: Up to 24 months for a Master’s degree, up to 48 months for a PhD
  • Inclusions: Tuition fees, partial monthly stipend, Portuguese language support and a relocation grant to the first 150 ranked candidates
  • Deadline: July 26, 2016
