Professional development opportunities for Canadians in OAS member states

April 27, 2017 – The Organization of American States (OAS) Professional Development Scholarship Program offers professional development opportunities to Canadians through short-term courses in specialized areas of training. The courses may be carried out on-site, by distance education or in a combination of both.

Numerous courses are offered throughout the year. Canadian professionals may be interested in upcoming courses. For a full list of available courses, please consult the Scholarships for Professional Development web page of the OAS.

Interested applicants are required to submit an application and all required documentation to the National Liaison Office (ONE) at least seven business days before the deadline in the specific course description available on the OAS website. The ONE is the official channel for processing OAS scholarships. For further information on the application process, please visit the OAS Professional Development Scholarship Program.

Additionally, Canadians are eligible for other scholarships offered via the OAS by its partner institutions in the Americas and around the world. For further details on the various other programs available, please refer to the OAS website.
