Opportunity for Canadian Researchers: Isidro Fabela Research Program

April 17, 2023 – The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Mexico, through the North America Unit and the Directorate-General of the Archives of Diplomatic History has launched a call for the Isidro Fabela Research Program. Canadians have until June 30, 2023 to apply.

• Funding organization: Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Mexico
• Target audiences: All academics affiliated with a higher education institution or research center in Canada, who research the history of binational relations between Mexico and North America
• Duration: The research project must be scheduled for completion by December 2023
• Benefits: Genaro Estrada Historical Archive will digitize documents of interest for research and the best paper will be selected and recommended to the Foreign Ministry Editorial Committee for publication in Spanish
• Deadline: June 30, 2023 at 2:00 p.m. (EDT)/12:00 p.m. (CST)
